Humane Earth follows SISCO. It is inclusive. For this reason, Humane Earth is made so any person can use it. This includes both reading it and adding to it.

This website is made to be read by screen readers, for people who do not have the full ability to see. Most colorblind people can tell apart the colors used here. This website is written in plain language, so all people find it easy to read and add to.

Most people can use it just the way it is. A few people will want to change one preference to make it easier to use.

Screen readers, black and white screens, monochromacy

On Humane Earth, blue text links to pages that already exist. Red text links to pages that still need to be made. To start these pages, click on any red link.

If you use a screen reader or a black and white screen, or if you have monochromacy, you can't tell the blue and red links apart. Instead, you can set Humane Earth to put a question mark ("?") after the red links.

Go to my preferences. Click on "Other" near the top of the page. The first choice says, "Hide question mark ("?") after links to pages that do not exist." Make sure that this box is not checked.

Help make Humane Earth easier for everyone to use

If you have ideas how Humane Earth could be easier to use – for everyone – put them on the Universal access "discuss" page. (For more information, read about "discuss" pages.)

You can help make each page easier to read and add to. Make sure they are written in plain language. For more information, read about plain language.
