Humane Earth:Is not
From Humane Earth
We want you to add to Humane Earth! Before you do, you need to understand not only what Humane Earth is about. You need to understand what it is not.

Humane Earth is not Wikipedia
Humane Earth is not an encyclopedia of all things. Not every word on a page should link to its own page. But Humane Earth should be about many different subjects, big and small.
When you set words as links, you should think: is this something that could be more humane? Use your imagination when you think about this question. If the answer is yes, make a link. If another person agrees with you, they will make a page for it.
(If you have used Wikipedia or another wiki, read our welcome for users of other wikis.
Humane Earth is not a place to argue about sensitive subjects
Each page on Humane Earth describes how a subject could be more humane, not whether it is or is not humane. For example, a page should not talk about whether abortion is humane or not. If there is a page on abortion, it should take the view that abortion is not always humane, but it is something we could make more humane.
It is fine - even good - to not agree with other users. This is most true on "discuss" pages. If many people do not agree about something, we should say so on the "define," "plan," or "act" page.
For example, many people think it is possible to raise animals for meat in a humane way. Many people think it can never be humane. To be inclusive, we need to make room for many different views.
For this reason, if there is a page on how abortion could be more humane, it should say that some people think it can never be humane.
Humane Earth is not a place for attacks
It is not about whether any one person, group, business, or place is humane. It is about how societies can be more humane.
Humane Earth is not liberal or conservative
You do not need to be part of any political party to add to it. You need only to agree with SISCO. All types of people can agree that society needs to be more sustainable, inclusive, safe, and cruelty-free.
It is fine, though, to question anything on Humane Earth. Even SISCO.
Humane Earth is not very big yet
We need your help to make it bigger. To find out how, read How can I help?
