Humane Earth:Page types

From Humane Earth

Each subject on Humane Earth has four pages. These are labeled "define," "plan," "act," and "discuss."

Contents

The "define" page

The "define" page is the main page for the subject. It describes how that aspect or part of society could be more humane. It describes it in terms of SISCO. For an example, read the page on buildings.

If you are making a new "define" page, you can add section headings by typing {{subst:Headings}}. Then click "Save page."

The "plan" page

The "plan" page sets a plan. This plan is how to make the subject more humane. The plan follows what is on the "define" page. For an example, read the page on raising animals.

Users might not agree on a plan. If so, on the "discuss" page, talk about what is the best plan to reach the goals of the "define" page. The "define" page might recognize more than one view. If it does, the "plan" page should also.

The "act" page

The "act" page is a place to start making this plan happen. It is a place to talk about the subject. It is a place to call people to action.

The "act" page can look however you want. "Act" pages are one of two types of pages where you can use HTML. (The other is user pages.)

The "discuss" page

The "discuss" page is a place to talk about the other pages. It is a place to talk about how they could be better. It is a place to disagree with users. It is a place to find common ground.

For more, read about "discuss" pages.
