Wikis (such as Humane Earth) succeed because no one needs to work alone. Other people add to what you write. They make it better. To work well, wikis need many people adding to them.
The world is too big for just a few people to change it. Don't work alone. Help other people be a part of Humane Earth!

Spread the word online
Email friends and family. (Do not email people you do not know!) Tell them why you use Humane Earth. Tell them why they are good people to add to it.
Spread the link
Put this link - http://www.humane-earth.com - any place you can:
- Your blog or website.
- Your MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, or other "social network" page.
- Your IM profile and away message.
- Your email signature.
- News groups or mailing lists you are part of (if it is related).
- Digg, del.icio.us, StumbleUpon and other "social bookmark" sites. (You can add both the website and subject pages.)
It will help if you write about what Humane Earth is. For news groups or mailing lists, you need to write how it relates to their subjects. Talk about pages that people have made. Talk about ones that need to be started.

Spread the word in the real world
We want all types of people. Even people who do not "live" on the Internet. Here are old-fashioned ways to spread the word.
Use your mouth
Talk to people who might have an interest. Talk to people who have something to add. Give them something with the link - http://www.humane-earth.com - on it. (For examples, read below.) If you know teachers, maybe their students could add to Humane Earth for a class.
What the locals read
Use the local newspaper. Use your group's newsletter. Use a community directory. Send a few words with the link. Write a short article.
Post flyers
Put flyers on bulletin boards (if you are allowed to). Leave a few at a library, coffee shop, college, or store (if they let you). For examples, read below.
Start a group
Start a local group of people who want to add to Humane Earth. Find members using the ways above. They can be people at your school. They can be people in your city.
Tell people about your group any way you can. Perhaps you can get a newspaper to write a story about you!
Talk about pages
Some people have an interest in one subject. Talk about the page for that subject. If the page needs more (or needs to be started), ask them to help!
